As part of its value-based preventive activities, the Department of Prevention of Corruption of the National Protective Service presented its innovative training package of educational and biographical films, presentations and interview booklets for the instructors and trainers of the training institutions providing full-time law enforcement education (National University of Public Service Faculty of Law-Enforcement, Law Enforcement College of Körmend and Miskolc, Police Educational and Training Centre, Police Training Academy Adyliget and Szeged Patrol Training Branch).
In the framework of a pilot programme, the National Protective Service's first awareness-raising session on topics related to the phenomenon of value-based behaviour was held for the 10-month police patrol cadets training programme at the Police Education and Training Centre Police Training Academy Adyliget Patrol Training Branch on 16 January 2024.
A delegation from the National Protective Service also represented Hungary at the General Assembly of States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (CoSP). The UN General Assembly on this issue is the largest global anti-corruption conference in the world.

The Corruption Prevention Department of the National Protective Service, at the request of the Government Office of Budapest, held an integrity development seminar for middle and senior managers between 6-8 November 2023. The aim of the event was to provide the participating managers with an integrity-sensitizing, awareness-raising presentation that they could pass on to their colleagues and incorporate some of its elements into their daily work.
The European Partners Against Corruption (EPAC) is an independent forum for practitioners, united in the common goal of preventing and combating corruption, having been in existence since 2004. EPAC is composed of more than 90 anti-corruption authorities and police oversight bodies from Council of Europe Member Countries, including Hungary as well. Its aim is to provide a forum for experts to exchange professional experience, develop common strategies and improve professional standards.
