The anti-corruption prevention experts of the National Protective Service were invited to organise a professional conference entitled “Integrity and Value-Based Decision-Making at the Mátészalka District Education Centre.” The event, held on 12–13 February 2026, was attended by the entire senior management of the district education centre, school principals, as well as government officials working within the district.
The professional programme of the event consisted of three main components: plenary presentations, an interactive workshop known as the Integrity Café, and training sessions. The Integrity Café provided an opportunity for open dialogue, the sharing of experiences, and the joint development of practical solutions. The programme aimed to promote awareness-raising and attitude-shaping related to integrity, with particular emphasis on introducing the conceptual framework of integrity, exploring the relationship between individual and organisational integrity, and highlighting risks arising from the lack of integrity, especially the key factors contributing to the emergence of corruption.
