At the 23rd Annual Professional Conference of the European Partners Against Corruption/European Anti-Corruption Contact Network (EPAC/EACN), the General Assembly adopted the initiative of the Austrian Federal Anti-Corruption Office (BAK) to establish a working group to develop and standardise situation reports on corruption.
An integrity-focused training course for teacher inspired the head of an elementary school in Győr-Moson-Sopron County to share his experiences and lessons learned from the training with his staff. A professional day without teaching was a great opportunity to do so, and the programme was supported by the Corruption Prevention Department of the National Protective Service.
The National Protective Service and the Public Procurement Authority are committed to using all means to prevent corruption. To strengthen this, they have worked together in recent years to implement a number of strategic anti-corruption objectives.
In the framework of bilateral cooperation, the head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the National Protective Service together with other two colleauges paid a professional visit to the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) of the Austrian Ministry of the Interior between 27-28 March 2025. The cooperation between the two organisations has a long history and the two parties have already shared their experiences on a number of occasions in order to successfully fight corruption.
On 20 February 2025, the Police Headquarters of Csongrád-Csanád County held an Integrity training and an interactive event called “Dual Café” based on the Police Café methodology for secondary school students participating in the dual training programme. The programme was held by the staff of the Corruption Prevention Department of the National Protective Service.
