In 2026, the National Protective Service continued its integrity-development programme designed for students participating in dual training programme. The training was implemented on 18 February 2026 with the involvement of professionals from the corruption prevention field, in cooperation with the Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters. This year’s event brought together students enrolled in the current academic year’s dual training programme, supporting both their professional and personal development.

The integrity training focused on raising awareness of individual and professional values, as well as strengthening self-awareness. Particular emphasis was placed on developing argumentation skills and reinforcing responsible and ethical decision-making competencies, which are essential for the practice of the policing profession. The interactive sessions — built on practical examples and joint reflection — helped participants identify their own values and align them with the fundamental principles of police service.

The event was attended by Colonel Dr. Ádám István Horváth, Director of the Police Education and Training Centre, and Brigadier General Dr. Zsolt Polyák, Chief of Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters. Through their personal presence, they highlighted the importance of integrity-development programmes, emphasizing that dual training is not limited to the transfer of professional knowledge but also plays a decisive role in shaping the values and sense of responsibility of future police officers.

The National Protective Service remains committed to ensuring that future law enforcement professionals are strengthened in the principles of ethical, transparent, and responsible conduct from the very beginning of their careers. The organisation is confident that the programme will contribute in the long term to the development of conscious and responsible thinking among young participants and will support them in practising their profession with dedication and integrity.
