An integrity-focused training course for teacher inspired the head of an elementary school in Győr-Moson-Sopron County to share his experiences and lessons learned from the training with his staff. A professional day without teaching was a great opportunity to do so, and the programme was supported by the Corruption Prevention Department of the National Protective Service.

A unique methodology has been created for this special event. The aim was to bring together the concept of everyday integrity and to learn about the possibilities that help both the staff and the children's community to function, and to give teachers new ideas for community-building, values-based classroom work.

57 staff members of the Éltes Mátyás Elementary School, Kindergarten, Skills Development School, College and Unified Methodological Institute of Special Education in the city of Mosonmagyaróvár participated in the professional day on 17 April 2025. The teachers worked in two groups, explored the concept of integrity and developed key competences such as decision-making, conflict management and cooperation through interactive exercises.

After an initial reticence, participants became more actively involved in the process. Many of them indicated that they were trying to incorporate the knowledge they had gained during the workshop into their work with children.
