The Minister of Justice (previously called the Minister of Justice and Public Administration), the President of the State Audit Office, the Prosecutor General and the President of the Supreme Court signed a joint declaration on 18th December 2011 on the cooperation of state organisations in the fight against corruption. The declaration was joined by the President of the National Office for the Judiciary in 2012 and the Minister of Interior in 2014, as well as the Governor of the Hungarian Central Bank and the President of the Public Procurement Authority in November 2016. By signing the declaration, they committed themselves to strengthen the resistance of their organisation against corruption by putting in place the most up-to-date methods available. The signatories of the joint declaration also expressed their wish to cooperate in order to establish an effective coordination and information mechanism in the fight against corruption. The joint declaration is unprecedented both at national and international level.
